Γεννήθηκα το 1983 στην Αθήνα. Σπούδασα Κοινωνική Ανθρωπολογία στο Πάντειο Παν/μιο και έκανα μεταπτυχιακό στο ίδιο αντικείμενο στο πανεπιστήμιο Goldsmiths του Λονδίνου.
Η σχέση μου με τον Τύπο ξεκίνησε στα φοιτητικά μου χρόνια, όταν έκανα αντικαταστάσεις στη διόρθωση αθλητικών εφημερίδων.
Ως δημοσιογράφος ξεκίνησα να δουλεύω το 2007 στην εκπομπή «Ρεπορτάζ Χωρίς Σύνορα» της ΕΡΤ και συνέχισα το 2008 ως συντάκτρια ροής στο tvxs.gr. Από το 2009 έως το 2014 συνεργάστηκα ως freelancer με περιοδικά και εφημερίδες («K» και «Ταξίδια» της Καθημερινής, «Free Sunday», «Athinorama Travel», ειδικές εκδόσεις του ομίλου Real Group), εργάστηκα ως υπεύθυνη ύλης στην πολιτιστική ενότητα του thepressproject.gr και συνεργάστηκα με το βρετανικό τηλεοπτικό δίκτυο ITV, καλύπτοντας μία δίκη που αφορούσε Βρετανούς υπηκόους, στην Πάτρα.
Μεταξύ 2014-2016 ανέλαβα την επιμέλεια ύλης στο κυριακάτικο ένθετο «Ταξίδι» της εφημερίδας Έθνος. Aπό το 2016 έως το 2024 δούλεψα στο ταξιδιωτικό τμήμα της Καθημερινής, με ρεπορτάζ στο κυριακάτικο περιοδικό «Ταξίδια», την ταξιδιωτική σειρά «Τόποι», το περιοδικό «Κ», τις ειδικές εκδόσεις του ομίλου («GB Magazine» του ξενοδοχείου Μεγάλη Βρετανία, «Costa Navarino Stories», «Electra Magazine», σειρά «Greece Is», «Limited», «Κ Γυναίκες», «Τα Βουνά Μας»), τα σάιτ kathimerini.gr και greece-is.com.
Το 2025 συνεργάστηκα με το ταξιδιωτικό περιοδικό «Διακοπές» και με το tovima.gr, ενώ από τα τέλη του έτους ξεκίνησε η συνεργασία μου με το travel.gr.
Εδώ και 3 χρόνια συμμετέχω σε μια μεγάλη έρευνα για το παρελθόν, το παρόν και το μέλλον των Αγρονόμων Τοπογράφων Μηχανικών (μέρος της οποίας είναι αναρτημένο εδώ: polytexneio73pedia.gr).
Από τη 19χρονη πορεία μου στον Τύπο κρατάω πολλά ταξίδια και ρεπορτάζ: στο Βερολίνο, στο πλαίσιο ενός προγράμματος ελληνογερμανικής φιλίας, με επισκέψεις στο ομοσπονδιακό υπουργείο Εξωτερικών και τη βίλα Βάνζεε, στη Βενετία του σχεδιαστή Mariano Fortuny, στα χωριά της ιαπωνικής υπαίθρου, στη Λευκωσία και τα κατεχόμενα της Κύπρου, στον Παρνασσό με κτηνοτρόφους της Τιθορέας, στην Καλαμάτα με ψαράδες του Μεσσηνιακού κόλπου. Ξεχωρίζω περισσότερο, όμως, τρεις στιγμές:
* Το βράδυ της 6ης Δεκεμβρίου 2008. Είχα βάρδια στο tvxs.gr, χτύπησε το τηλέφωνο και ενημερώθηκα για τη δολοφονία του Αλέξανδρου Γρηγορόπουλου. Έμεινα στο γραφείο ως το πρωί, καλύπτοντας τα γεγονότα μιας ιστορικής βραδιάς.
* Το ρεπορτάζ «Νέοι, μορφωμένοι, βιοπαλαιστές» που δημοσιεύτηκε στο περιοδικό «Κ» της Καθημερινής τον Νοέμβριο του 2011, με τις ιστορίες τριών ανθρώπων που δυσκολεύονταν να βρουν δουλειά στο αντικείμενό τους λόγω οικονομικής κρίσης. Διαβάζοντας το άρθρο, επικοινώνησε με την Καθημερινή η επιχειρηματίας Κ.Κ., η οποία θέλησε να χρηματοδοτήσει τις σπουδές τους (ξέρω ότι σε μία τουλάχιστον περίπτωση αυτό συνέβη).
* Το ρεπορτάζ «Πόσο ηθικοί ταξιδιώτες είμαστε» (Ταξίδια Καθημερινής, 2019) που εντάχθηκε στην Τράπεζα Θεμάτων της Γ’ Λυκείου και το οποίο αν κάποιος καθηγητής θελήσει, μπορεί να το διδάξει στην τάξη του, στο μάθημα της Νέας Ελληνικής Γλώσσας και Λογοτεχνίας.
Έφτιαξα αυτό το σάιτ την άνοιξη του 2026, λίγους μήνες αφότου ολοκλήρωσα το σεμινάριο Google Ads, YouTube Ads & Analytics του ΕΚΠΑ, το οποίο με βοήθησε να εμβαθύνω στον ψηφιακό κόσμο, όπως οφείλει να κάνει κάθε Millennial σαν εμένα.
Το σεμινάριο μου έδωσε τα εργαλεία για να εξοικειωθώ με διαφορετικές ψηφιακές πλατφόρμες και να μάθω πώς να βρίσκω λύσεις σε τεχνικά προβλήματα, ώστε τελικά να καταλήξω να αγοράσω domain name, ψηφιακό χώρο (στη Γερμανία) και backup χώρο (στη Γαλλία). Να στήσω τις σελίδες, να κατηγοριοποιήσω το υλικό, να βρω φωτογραφίες, links, κείμενα και να γεμίσω το σάιτ με περιεχόμενο που συμπυκνώνει την επαγγελματική μου πορεία.

I was born in Athens in 1983. I studied Social Anthropology at Panteion University and completed a postgraduate degree in the same field at Goldsmiths, University of London.
My relationship with the press began during my student years, when I worked as a substitute proofreader for sports newspapers.
I started working as a journalist in 2007 on the ERT television program Reportage Without Borders (Reportaz Horis Synora), and in 2008 I continued as a news editor for the live news feed at tvxs.gr. From 2009 to 2014, I worked as a freelancer with magazines and newspapers (including K and Taxidia magazines of Kathimerini, the newspaper Free Sunday, and special editions of the Real Group). During that time, I also worked as content editor for the culture section of thepressproject.gr and collaborated with the British television network ITV, covering a trial in Patras involving British citizens.
Between 2014 and 2016, I worked as content editor for the Sunday travel supplement Taxidi of the newspaper Ethnos. From 2016 to 2024, I was a member of the travel department at Kathimerini, contributing reports to the Sunday magazine Taxidia, the travel series Topoi, K magazine, and the group’s special publications (GB Magazine for the Hotel Grande Bretagne, Costa Navarino Stories, Electra Magazine, the Greece Is series, Limited, Our Mountains and K Women), as well as to the websites kathimerini.gr, ekathimerini.com, and greece-is.com.
In 2025, I collaborated with the travel magazine Diakopes and tovima.gr, and since the end of that year, I have been collaborating with travel.gr.
For the past three years, I have been involved in a major research project on the past, present, and future of Surveying Engineers, part of which is available here: polytexneio73pedia.gr.
Over the course of my 19-year career in journalism, I have accumulated many memorable travels and reporting assignments: in Berlin, as part of a Greek-German friendship program, with visits to the Federal Foreign Office and the Wannsee Villa; in the Venice of designer Mariano Fortuny; in the villages of the Japanese countryside; in Nicosia and the occupied areas of Cyprus; on Mount Parnassus with livestock farmers from Tithorea; and in Kalamata with fishermen from the Messenian Gulf.
Above all, however, I single out three moments:
- The night of December 6, 2008. I was on shift at tvxs.gr when the phone rang and I was informed of the killing of Alexandros Grigoropoulos. I stayed at the office until morning, covering the events of a historic night.
- The feature “Young, Educated, Struggling to Make Ends Meet,” published in Kathimerini’s K magazine in November 2011, which told the stories of three people struggling to work in their field because of the economic crisis. After reading the article, entrepreneur K.K. contacted Kathimerini, wishing to fund their studies (I know that this happened in at least one case).
- The feature “How Ethical Are We as Travelers?” (Kathimerini Travel, 2019), which is included in the official topic bank for Greece’s third year of high school. This means that, if a teacher chooses, it can be taught in the classroom as part of the Modern Greek Language and Literature curriculum.
I created this website in the spring of 2026, a few months after completing the Google Ads, YouTube Ads & Analytics seminar at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, which helped me delve deeper into the digital world, as every Millennial like me ought to do.
The seminar gave me the tools to become familiar with different digital platforms and learn how to solve technical problems, ultimately leading me to purchase a domain name, web hosting space (in Germany), and backup storage (in France). I then built the pages, organized the material, sourced photographs, links, and texts, and filled the site with content that encapsulates my professional journey.
In addition to published articles, you will find original writing (in the blog section) and independent projects I have been involved in over the past ten years, in both Greek and English.
